Promote Training are seeking Associate Course Authors to join their growing team of golf industry experts in writing practical eLearning training courses for the worldwide golf industry.

Promote Training were established in 2015 as the first dedicated eLearning provider to the golf industry. Since this time, over 500 delegates have undertaken an online course with the company spanning over 20 countries worldwide.

The Candidate

The company are now keen to expand their prospectus of 25+ eLearning courses by engaging industry experts to write a course/courses about their particular specialisms in the golf industry. Subjects they are particularly interested in include:

  • Golf retail management
  • Social media management
  • Event management
  • Golf club accounting and finance
  • Golf club operations
  • Club governance
  • Human resource management
  • Driving a golf coaching business
  • Introducing newcomers to golf
  • Golf range management

The right candidates will be proven industry experts in their field and undaunted at writing between 10,000 and 45,000 words on the subject. They will have a good grasp of written English language and have a free flowing, informal prose to their writing.

The Role

The successful individuals will be asked to write the course in a normal electronic format (Microsoft Word) and Promote Training will then convert the content to an eLearning format, including quizzes, tests, assignments and all graphical accompaniments. The company will also check the materials using professional proof-readers.

The course(s) will be sold via Promote Training’s Learning Management System via their routes-to-market across the worldwide golf industry including the PGA of GB&I, the PGA’s of Europe, the PGA of Canada, an extensive database of golf club managers and heads of department and excellent relationships with the golf trade media. In addition, the Associate Course Author will have the opportunity to sell their course via their own website and contact databases.

All Promote Training’s Associate Course Authors retain full copyright to their content and materials and all acknowledgements will be given to the author(s), including their profile in the course introduction and on Promote Training’s website.

Promote Training will convert your course(s) into an eLearning format, host them on our LMS and sell them via our website completely free-of-charge with no long-term commitment needed. In turn, Associate Course Authors will benefit from a generous profit-share of all course sales and will harvest contact data from all course delegates and enquiries.
