Langley Park Golf Club Ltd was established in 1910, as a parkland course designed by 5-time Open Champion J H Taylor. Although a Private Members Club, the Club is run as a multi-faceted leisure business which relies heavily on non-golf related revenue streams.
Summary of Role:
This is an important appointment for the Club and the successful candidate will be a self-motivated and driven candidate, with strong interpersonal and management skills. Commitment to the on-time delivery in all aspects of the Club’s business is also essential. A proven track record in a similar customer facing role within golf is essential. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have excellent organisational skills, coupled with the ability to work well on their own initiative, as well as, within a team environment.
The Candidate:
The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years management experience gained in the golfing industry. They must possess a comprehensive knowledge of the game of golf, it’s competitive formats and traditions within a private members club. We are looking for someone with drive, enthusiasm and passion willing to work flexible hours including weekends.
And if you can demonstrate:
– Experience of managing hospitality and events, ideally within a membership organisation which also offers other services to the public
– A talent for marketing, with experience in developing and implementing effective marketing plans using digital and print media.
– A track record of developing a culture of service excellence to deliver a consistent, high quality and enjoyable experience.
– A suitable degree level qualification possibly in Golf Management or Hospitality

Salary: The salary will be negotiable but commensurate with the position and the overall package will include: share in staff fund distributed annually, pension fund, meals on duty, Ongoing CDP support with GCMA/CMAE.
