Recruiting an experienced Golf Clubhouse/Front of House Manager

About You:

– A minimum of 3 years food and beverage management experience

– Having worked in a Golf Club previously.

– Have your own transport and live with in a 30-minute drive of St Albans.

Overview of Role:

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Front of House team and enhance the overall clubhouse experience for our members and guests. As a busy private members club with numerous events and functions, the ideal candidate must be proactive, driven, and enthusiastic, able to work independently and bring fresh ideas to the role.

Collaborating closely with the General Manager, Heads of Departments, and our Head Chef, this is a pivotal role in ensuring first-class service delivery across the bar, functions, and our new halfway house facility.

– Oversee the day-to-day operations of internal and external functions, the bar, and our new halfway house facility, ensuring seamless service delivery.

– Develop and implement effective procedures for the bar and functions, including creating rotas aligned with business demands.

– Drive sales by encouraging upselling and providing comprehensive training to staff.

– Maintain optimal stock levels to meet business needs and prevent shortages or overages.

– Manage and supervise all bar and function staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.

– Collaborate with nominated suppliers to secure competitive pricing across all aspects of the business.

– Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the clubhouse.

– Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and legal requirements to safeguard staff and patrons alike.
