Witney Lakes Resort, a Golf and Health Club with Spa, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the club’s dining services and all food and beverage production across the entire facility. This key role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality dining experience that aligns with the premium service standards of the club. Located in the charming town of Witney in Oxfordshire, the club is part of The Club Company collection comprising 18 premium UK country clubs.

Position Overview:
As Food & Beverage Manager at Witney Lakes, you will be responsible for overseeing the restaurant, functions, Halfway Hut, and Pulse Café, ensuring that each area delivers a consistently high-quality service. You will work closely with the General Manager, Head Chef, Events team, and other departments to coordinate operations and optimize the guest experience. This role requires you to be highly visible and customer-facing, providing enthusiastic leadership to the service team, and fostering a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for both guests and members.
– Leads the recruitment, training, and supervision of the Food and Beverage team, ensuring a motivated and skilled workforce.
– Ensures all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are in place and consistently followed across all areas.
– Monitors purchasing and receiving procedures to guarantee proper quantity, quality, and price, maintaining cost efficiency.
– Oversees the appearance, upkeep, and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities, ensuring a high standard of presentation.
– Manages rotas and staff planning to ensure adequate staffing levels, efficient operations, and excellent service delivery.
– Collaborates with the Head Chef to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements in all food and beverage operations.
– Carries out Duty Management responsibilities as required, ensuring the smooth running of the club during shifts.
– Works closely with Central support on menu items, pricing, and menu designs for all outlets, special events, and banquet occasions.
About You:
– Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospitality management, demonstrating leadership and operational expertise in food and beverage services.
– Must have your own transport and reside within a 30-minute drive of Witney Lakes
– Understand the requirement for weekend and evening work
– Hold a valid Personal Licence to ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding the sale of alcohol.
