Position Overview:
Reporting to the Group General Manager, you will hold full P&L responsibility for the Centre and lead the ongoing development of a multi-disciplinary team spanning golf operations, food and beverage, and greenkeeping. You will take ownership of driving commercial performance, including leading the sales of golf memberships and group golf days, while ensuring a high-quality customer experience across all areas of the facility. Comfortable operating within a high-footfall environment that introduces new players to the game, you will function as a visible ambassador in the local community, actively championing the Centre’s activities and fostering strong relationships to support our continued growth.
– Work closely with the Group’s Management to develop and deliver strategic goals, contributing to the long-term success and growth of the property.
– Lead and manage the service team, ensuring consistently high standards of customer care and a seamless, professional guest experience.
– Drive membership sales and retention initiatives, proactively growing the club’s customer base and engagement.
– Take full responsibility for achieving the venue’s annual budget and financial targets, maintaining strong commercial performance.
– Collaborate with central support functions including HR, Marketing, and Finance to ensure aligned and efficient operations.
– Create and manage weekly staffing rotas, ensuring appropriate coverage to meet operational demands.
– Oversee the upkeep of the clubhouse, golf courses, and surrounding areas, ensuring both preventative and reactive maintenance is conducted effectively.
– Manage stock control across Food & Beverage and Retail, including monthly stock takes, while optimising golf course utilisation, pricing, and tee sheet management.
About You:
– At least 3 years’ management experience in a high-traffic leisure environment.
– Reside within a 60-minute travel distance of the venue.
– An active golfer with a good understanding of club culture and operations.
– Confident in customer-facing situations and proactively engaged in sales activities.
– Willing to work weekends as required.
