GENERAL MANAGER

Lutterworth Golf Club, Leicestershire

£65,000 per annum + performance bonus and benefits

An exceptional opportunity to lead one of the Midlands’ most respected private members’ golf clubs.

Lutterworth Golf Club is seeking an ambitious, commercially astute and inspirational General Manager to lead the Club into its next phase of development.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the General Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across all areas of the Club. This is a high-profile role requiring an individual who can successfully balance the traditions and expectations of a private members’ club with the commercial demands of a modern golf, hospitality and leisure business

The Role

You will take overall responsibility for the leadership, performance and day-to-day management of the Club, with a particular focus on:

– Driving sustainable revenue and profitability across golf, hospitality and events.

– Growing visitor green fee income through effective commercial and dynamic pricing strategies.

– Developing Lutterworth’s position as a leading venue for corporate golf, business networking and corporate membership.

– Maximising the commercial potential of the clubhouse through private functions, conferences, meetings, celebrations, corporate hospitality and events.

– Providing strong financial leadership including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, KPI reporting and capital investment planning.

– Leading, inspiring and developing an established management team and wider workforce.

– Enhancing the Club’s profile, brand and digital presence.

– Maintaining the highest standards of governance, compliance, health and safety and operational performance.

The Person

We are looking for a highly visible and approachable leader with strong commercial instincts, excellent people skills and the ability to build positive relationships with members, staff, Directors, Committees and external partners.  You will ideally bring significant senior leadership experience within the golf, hospitality, leisure or private members’ club sector, together with a proven track record of:

– Leading multi-department operations and high-performing teams.

– Managing budgets, financial performance and commercial plans.

– Developing successful hospitality, events or corporate business.

– Delivering exceptional customer and member experiences.

Remuneration

An attractive remuneration package is available with a basic salary of £65,000 + Performance Bonus + Company benefits.
