The Role:

The Club is looking to recruit a committed, ambitious and inspiring Golf Club Manager who can work with our excellent staff teams, members and the Management Committee.

The successful candidate will be a proactive leader who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational management. You will be expected to bring fresh ideas, drive continuous improvement, and contribute positively to the Club's long-term development and sustainability.

Reporting to the Chairman the General Manager’s key responsibilities will include;

- Leading the management and development of all aspects of the club
- IT literate with experience of relevant software applications (Intelligent Golf) and cloud-based accounts (Zero), management systems/data storage and handicap/tee time systems.
- Pro-active communication, both internally and externally, to drive member recruitment and other visitor revenue through a robust sales & marketing strategy. This includes the implementation of green fee dynamic pricing.
- Provide information to members, updating the website and ensure social media channels are fully exploited.
- Day-to-day management of Club staff with practical knowledge of HR/employment law. (Citation
- Compliance of relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to health & safety, licensing and equality legislation.
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and the smooth running of the Club and all its facilities throughout the golfing year.
