This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the UK’s most prestigious golf and leisure environments. As Head of Golf & Leisure, you will take full ownership of a diverse, high-performing operation encompassing Golf Operations, Academy, Putting Studio, Gym, and Racquets.

This is more than an operational role — it is a strategic leadership position with full commercial accountability, direct influence on estate-wide projects, and responsibility for delivering an exceptional, benchmark-setting member and guest experience.

Your Impact

Commercial Leadership & Financial Ownership

You will own the commercial success of the entire golf and leisure division, managing performance with precision and foresight.

• Full P&L accountability for a multi-million-pound operation
• Maximise revenue and yield across tee sheets, coaching, retail, and leisure facilities
• Analyse performance through KPIs and act decisively to optimise results
• Exercise disciplined cost management across staffing, stock, and operational expenditure
• Identify and deliver new revenue streams, growth initiatives, and strategic projects

Operational Excellence at Every Level

You will set and maintain standards befitting a globally respected estate.

• Lead day-to-day operations across all golf and leisure departments
• Deliver consistently exceptional service aligned with brand standards and 59club performance benchmarks
• Maintain a highly visible presence, setting the tone during peak trading and key member events
• Implement and continuously refine operational systems, workflows, and procedures
• Ensure exceptional presentation, efficiency, and attention to detail across all facilities

Leadership, Culture & Team Development

You will build and inspire a high-performance culture defined by accountability, professionalism, and ambition.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team
• Create clear structures, expectations, and development pathways
• Drive recruitment, succession planning, and capability building
• Implement structured performance management, skills matrices, and career progression

• Proven leadership experience within a premium golf, leisure, or hospitality environment
• Demonstrated success managing operations with annual revenues exceeding £5 million
• Strong commercial instinct with full P&L ownership experience
• Confidence making clear, timely, and commercially sound decisions
• A visible, credible, and inspiring leadership presence
• A passion for excellence, people development, and continuous improvement
