Position Overview:
The Health and Fitness Sales Executive is a pivotal member of the Club’s sales team, working alongside three colleagues and the Sales Manager to drive health and fitness membership sales. This role manages the full customer journey, from initial enquiry through to membership delivery, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and memorable experience for every client.
Success in this role is measured by achieving monthly and annual sales targets, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall commercial performance of the Club. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an initiative-taking approach, strong market awareness, and close collaboration with the Sales Manager to identify new opportunities and support the Club’s wider sales strategy.
– Handle telephone and web enquiries promptly, following company standards and logging prospects accurately in the system.
– Conduct tours of the Club for prospective members, providing an engaging and informative experience.
– Process new memberships accurately and ensure all sales procedures are correctly followed.
– Generate new leads through outreach, referrals, and proactive follow-ups to support sales growth.
– Contribute to marketing initiatives, including suggesting ideas and executing activities from the Sales Manager’s planner.
– Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and market trends to inform sales strategy.
– Support social media engagement by updating content to attract and retain interest.
– Collaborate with colleagues to achieve targets, improve conversion rates, and meet deadlines.
About You:
– Previous experience in selling within Leisure, or Hospitality environments.
– Purposeful mindset with a strong focus on performance and KPIs
– Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional evenings.
– Comfortable communicating in person and on the phone.
– Independently mobile, living within a 45-minute commute of the venue.
